Evangelist Desiree Drew Lyon was born in Brooklyn, NY where she dedicated her life to the Lord at a very young age. She was filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues at the tender age of eight; and she does not regret one moment of following Jesus. Her sincerest desire is to be that mirror that reflects the image of Christ as she continues to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Desiree has been married to her husband, Pastor John Lyon, Jr., for twenty-seven years; together they have four children: John III, Kristen Rebekah, Justine Elise and Samuel Jaron Lyon. She also holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling.

She has been a licensed evangelist in the Church of God in Christ for twenty years where she was an instructor in the Charles Harrison Mason Bible College. She is an evangelist, prophetess, teacher, and intercessor; a servant-leader who loves the people of God dearly. Desiree firmly believes the success of the Christian believer is to live daily the command of Proverbs 3:6: “In all your ways, acknowledge the Lord and He will direct your path.”

She is involved in several community outreach programs as she has a true yearning to help God’s people; realizing that Christ has taught us that however we treat each other and whatever we do for the least of His, we do also unto Him (ref. Matt. 25:40).
